Organising skills training 2020
Do you want to learn about how renters can use organising tools to build power and win? Do you want to know more about how support others to get involved in the London Renters Union? Are you hoping to develop your skills and knowledge and play a more active role in the London Renters Union?
A team of experienced trainers from our education working group is running an exciting and innovative organising skills training. It aims to give members the tools they need to play a bigger and more effective role in building the power of the London Renters Union.
A requirement of this training is that you commit to coming to all eight sessions. Places are restricted, especially given the limitations of Zoom, and there will be a waiting list. Please take the time to think carefully about whether you can commit to the training at this time. The Wednesdays are:
30 Sept, 7 Oct, 14 Oct, 21 Oct @ 5.30-7.30pm
28 Oct half way celebration time TBC
4 Nov, 11 Nov, 18, Nov, 25 Nov @ 5.30-7.30pm
This training is especially aimed at people who have put themselves forward for a role within their branch or who would like to spend a significant amount of time building the union over the coming year.
The deadline for applications is 6pm on 20 September.
If you would like to attend, please fill out the short application form below. If you would rather, you can send a short voice note to the paid organiser in your branch.
Please note that places on this training are limited – we will let everyone know whether they are invited to attend the training at least 2 weeks before the first session.
