Take action: Ask your MP to support a #RentFreezeNow
London rents are up 18% in a year and many of us face rent rises of £3,000 per year or more. While landlords and estate agents get richer, we get poorer and face homelessness.
We’re one of a number of organisations that have written an open letter to the government demanding a temporary ban on landlords increasing rent.
The letter has been signed by the NEU, RMT, CWU and UNISON, the Green Party and London Mayor Sadiq Khan and local Mayors from across London and the UK.
Use the tool below to send your MP a message to ask them to join our call for a #RentFreezeNow.

JOIN THE LONDON RENTERS UNION
We’re a members-led, campaigning union and we’re taking action to make sure all Londoners have a decent, affordable and secure home. Join our community today and become part of the movement to transform the housing system.
