Are you in debt to your landlord? Are you worried about eviction? Do you want to learn how you can support your neighbours to stay in their homes?
We’ve successfully resisted and prevented dozens of evictions since the pandemic started. We need be ready for when evictions do re-start. There’s still lots of important work to do to support each other to avoid getting eviction notices and many of our members still face illegal eviction.
Come to our Stop Evictions training to learn how you can help stop evictions. It will cover:
- What’s a valid or invalid eviction notice?
- How can you use invalid eviction notices to your advantage?
- The union’s 5 step plan on preventing and resisting evictions
- Tips on how to safely resist an eviction
- How you can be a part of stopping evictions
