Strategy workshop: LRU’s vision and our understanding of the housing system
Wednesday 31 August 2022, 6pm-8:30pm
Event Space, Pelican House, 144 Cambridge Heath Road, London E1 5QJ
In September LRU coordinating group members and delegates from each branch are going to meet to work together on a long-term strategy for the London Renters Union. All members will then be encouraged and supported to develop proposals for our All Member Assembly in December.
On Wednesday 31 August, all active LRU members will have a chance take part in this conversation. This session will bring together members from different branches. It will talk about the LRU’s understanding of the housing system and our vision on how we want it to change. There will be more opportunities for all active members to take part in this process later in the year.
Come to this workshop on Wednesday 31 August to:
⭐️ Help shape the LRU’s understanding of the housing crisis.
⭐️ Share your thoughts about the union’s vision for the future of the housing system.
⭐️ Take part in a conversation about the union’s strategy for the coming years.
This workshop is open to all LRU members who are currently active in a branch or working group.
We will serve food and refreshments. If you have any questions, dietary requests, would prefer to join online or if you have accessibility requests (such as interpretation or child care) please contact Michael on 07922778141.
