LRU All Member Assembly 2023
Sunday 26 November – 11am-5pm followed by dinner and social until 8pm
Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Rd, London, E1 6LA

The All Member Assembly happens every year. It’s when LRU members across London come together to celebrate our victories and decide on plans for the years ahead.

Join other renters at our All Member Assembly on Sunday 26 November to:
️🚩Hear from LRU members and branches about our wins over the past year
⭐️Get more involved in LRU
🗣️Help shape the LRU’s plans for 2024
🗳️Vote on important decisions for how we organise together

Capacity at Rich Mix is limited so please register now using the form below if you know you would like to come.

Motions

The All Member Assembly is a chance for us to debate and vote on motions. If a motion is agreed at an all-member assembly, then it becomes official union policy. The union’s coordinating group has to implement it.

A motion can be submitted by a branch, a working group or by a group of 150 members (2% of the total membership) and should be submitted to cg@londonrentersunion.org. There is a template here.

If you’d like support with writing a motion or to get more information about how to have a motion adopted by your branch or working group in order for it to be submitted for AMA, contact your branch secretary or coordinating group representative or CG@londonrentersunion.org.

The deadline for submitting motions is November 1. This is so all members have a chance to read the motions and think about any amendments they would like to make ahead of the assembly.
