This training is for LRU members in Hackney and Newham and Leytonstone branches, and especially those who want to get involved in member solidarity. We will cover the basics of peer support – the collective work we do to support members with their housing issues through sharing information, emotional support, and suggesting steps they can take to resolve the issue.
We will discuss why we do peer support, how to lead a peer support conversation, and how to access information about members’ housing issues. There will also be a chance to practice in a small group.
We will serve some food, and access requests are available via the form below.
