We’re two weeks away from action

On 18 April, renters from across the country are coming together to demand homes we can actually afford. Over 70 unions and grassroots campaigns have already backed this demonstration. Across workplaces, communities, and cities, people are getting organised to fight back. We can make this demonstration impossible to ignore, but only if lots of us get involved in the next two weeks.

There are two ways to get involved:

1. Art build – Join other renters to make banners, placards and props together. It’s a chance to meet people, make something with your hands, and feel what this movement looks like.

2. Phone banking – We’ll be calling other renters to remind them to come and encourage them to bring friends, neighbours and workmates. Don’t worry if you’ve not done this before. Your experience as a renter is all you need!

All sessions are at Pelican House, 144 Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green, London E1 5QJ. We’ll provide food, and we can help with travel costs too.
