Peer support training, 28 November 6-8:30pm

When: Monday 28 November, 6-8:30pm
Where: Common room, second floor, Pelican House, 144 Cambridge Heath Road, E1 5QJ
This training is for all active LRU member, and especially those who want to get involved in member solidarity. We will cover the basics of peer support – the collective work we do to support members with their housing issues through sharing information, emotional support, and steps they can take to resolve the issue.
We will discuss why we do peer support, how to facilitate a peer support conversation, and how to access information about members’ housing issues. There will also be a chance to practice in a small group.
All members from across the union’s branches are welcome! We will serve some food, and child care and interpretation are available if requested.
If you have any questions or accessibility requests, please contact Alva – alva@londonrentersunion.org
