Workshop: Cut the Rent campaign – help develop our rent control demands

11am-3pm, Sunday 6 April
Lunch provided // Childcare and travel costs available
Open to all active LRU members
LRU’s Cut the Rent campaign is fighting for rent controls. Through powerful actions and determined campaigning, winning the backing of unions and politicians and pushing the debate into the mainstream.
As part of the next step of the campaign, the Campaigns Committee is organising a workshop to talk about what kind of rent controls we want.
We’ll be looking at how rent controls work in other countries and talking about what we need from rent controls here in London. This workshop will be a key part of us developing our rent controls demands.
If you’re a renter who is fed up with rising rents and the impact they’re having on our communities, then you already have all of the knowledge and information you need to take part. The workshop will be designed to be accessible as possible.
Come help shape the next steps of the Cut the Rent campaign!
