Member Solidarity

As members of the London Renters Union, we support each other to address our housing problems and to stand up to landlords and estate agents

Many housing laws are written in the interests of landlords. We often feel alone and uninformed when faced with housing problems.

But together we are powerful. As members of the union we support each other to stand up to landlords and estate agents. We’re not an advice service, a charity or a law firm. Instead, we take action together by writing letters and organising protests to demand our rights be respected.

Through collective action, we’ve helped members get their deposits back, ensure urgent repairs are made and stop evictions.
