Do you want to learn about how renters can use organising tools to build power and win? Do you want to know more about how support others to get involved in the London Renters Union?
A team of experienced trainers from our education working group is running an exciting and innovative organising skills training. It aims to give members the tools they need to play a bigger and more effective role in building the power of renters. At this training we’ll cover:
⭐ – How we use community organising to build the power of renters
🏠 – Building relationships and supporting renters to develop their participation and leadership
📣 – How we can organise together during the rest of the year to build our branches
This training is aimed at people who are already active in building a local LRU group or branch and would like to take on more responsibility for supporting other renters to get involved.
Participants will be supported to put their new skills into use in their LRU group or branch. A requirement of this training is that you commit to coming to the day itself on August 14 and the half-day follow-up session in October.
